3.1 The Owner states that to the best of his/her knowledge and belief that the above-described vehicle is in sound and safe condition and free of any known defects or faults which would affect its safe operation under normal use.
4.1 The Renter states that s/he is physically and legally qualified to operate the above-described vehicle.
Age Requirement
The Renter states that S/he is AT LEAST 20 years old and have had a valid drivers’ license for a minimum of 2 years accident-free.
The Owner agrees to rent the above-described vehicle to the Renter for the following period:

6.1 The Renter hereby agrees to pay the owner a rate of GHC ___________ per day for

6.4 All fuel used shall be paid for by the Renter.
6.5 Late Drop Off Charges of GHC __________Per Hour will be charged for the first 1 to 8 hours of late Drop-Off and GHC_____________ Per Day thereafter if the Renter fails to deliver the car to the Drop Off Location at the ending Date and Time as stipulated under Article 5 above.
7.1 The rented vehicle shall not be used to carry passengers or property for rent.
7.2 The rented vehicle shall not be used to carry passengers other than in the vehicle interior/cab
7.3 The rented vehicle shall not be used to push, propel or tow another vehicle, trailer or any other thing without the written permission of the Owner.
7.4 The rented vehicle shall not be used for any race or in any competition.
7.5 The rented vehicle shall not be used for any illegal purpose.
7.6 The Renter shall not operate the vehicle in a negligent manner.
7.7 The rented vehicle shall not be operated by any other person other than the Renter stipulated in 1.2 above without the written permission of the Owner. If Renter allows any other driver under the age of 20 years old to drive the rented vehicle, the Renter will be fully responsible for all expenses related to the rental car and any other vehicle involved in any manner of accident.
7.8 The renter should NOT under any circumstances make physical or esthetic or mechanical changes to the vehicle while under rent.
7.9 The Maximum Allowable Speed limit whilst driving the rented car is 120 Km/hour.
NB: Any infraction of the stated speed limit will attract a fine/penalty of Ghc20.00 for the first 3km/hour maintained on the speed above 120km/hour. Any additional increased km/hr above 123 km/hr will attract additional penalty of Ghc20 multiplied by the total number of km covered.
8.1 The Renter hereby agrees that h /she shall be held fully responsible for the first GHC 4,500 deductible in case of accident. The Renter also agrees that only the vehicle is covered under insurance and the driver or passengers are not covered. The Renter also agrees that personal belongings and other items left in the vehicle at any time are not covered.
8.2 In lieu of being responsible for the first deductible, the Renter may opt to purchase additional insurance at a rate of GHC ____ per day.
9.1 The Renter further agrees to make a fully-refundable Security Deposit of GHC 300 ______with TCR (or on behalf of the owner), and depending on the type of vehicle; this deposit to be used, in the event of loss of or damage to the vehicle or installed equipment during the term of this Car Rental Agreement, to defray partially or fully the cost of any necessary replacement or repairs.
9.2 In the absence of damage or loss, the deposit will be credited toward payment of the Rental Rate and any excess shall be returned to the Renter.
